Monrovia, Liberia — One of the faces of Liberian comedy, Keyshia, has written a couple of emotional comments as she shared a throwback picture of herself on Facebook.
On Monday, February 27, 2023, Keyshia took to her social media handle to post a “before and now” picture with a caption saying “from grass to grace. Behind every glory, there’s a story. This is just a picture but there’s a whole story behind it.”
Minutes after Keyshia made the post, fans troops in the comment section to thank God for her life and the transformation that has taken place. As fans wrote many thanksgiving comments, others begin concern about her emotional post.
Anna Deline, one of her fans, wrote: “You sounding so emotional tonight. God is good and his mercy is forever! God of Keyshia, we thank you.”

In reply to Anna’s comment, Keyshia couldn’t help but explain to Anna why she made the post. “I was just thinking how I used to sleep with hunger many nights with no school fees,” Keyshia wrote emotionally with a crying emoji.
Another fan, Menue Bainda, wrote: “La time it wor shit. I used to be at your patch patch uniform and one side bonsuao shoe.”
As emotive as the comedian was today, she told Menue that she was on the verge of giving up because of the hardship. “At that time na we tried to kill ourself and all. I give up and all,” the comedian wrote.
Keyshia, the famous comedian who shot to fame on TikTok and Facebook in early 2022, has now become a stress removal for Liberians and other citizens around.
As she shared these stories about how she beat life difficulties, I believe thousands of fans going through the same will gain strength from her success stories.
