Starz University was established in the USA in 2007 and incorporated in Monrovia in 2009. Starz University offers three levels of training – Certifications, diplomas, and degree programs.

International Certifications
Starz has a system where their graduating seniors take at least an international exam in their area of specialization – as part of their graduation requirements. Senior students who complete and pass the exam are awarded an international certificate. The exams are diversified, and there are different areas of interest.
According to the student’s handbook, any student who obtains an international certificate before graduation will be honoured during the graduation ceremony.

One of my most significant challenges in pursuing a college education was leaving my parents’ home in Firestone to attend Starz University in Monrovia. Imagine leaving behind everything that brings me comfort and happiness to start a very long journey. But guess what? In no time, I began meeting people more of a family. I had the opportunity to see Faithvonic, one of Liberia’s best female artists, for the first time – I have since sat in two different classes with her. What a privilege!
