A 25-year-old Liberian residing in the United States of America has trended on the internet days after she unveiled her four-bedroom apartment to the public.
SlimNicki Ammes relocated to the United States in August 2019, and in November 2021, she commenced her building project. Fifteen months later, Nicki was proudly seen on Facebook celebrating this massive achievement.
Nicki, a young lady who has never lived outside her parents’ house, explained the difficulty faced in a foreign land. According to the lady, she has always sought God’s counsel and told herself that regardless of what, she would survive.
She gave enormous credit to her Dad, who was literally her project manager. She also thanked her friends and family members who were supportive of her journey.
Nicki, however, cautioned would-be advisors not to step into her inbox unless they owned a house at her age.

I moved to the US in August 2019. As a young lady who had never been away from her parents, life was not bread n butter for me, but I survived
I prayed to God for guidance, believed I could do better, and told myself; “Amelia!! U got this!”
Started this project in November of 2021 when I had just returned from my visit to Liberia, and I can proudly say I did it in 15 months.
Big ups to my amazing dad for standing by me throughout this journey… I’ve got the best father in the world!!! He did everything possible to make sure I finished this n I must say, I’m blessed to have him.
