“We are Global,” Says MC Caro After Accomplishing Two Major Achievements
The debate that Liberian musicians and their music are not going anywhere is gradually going down the drain. Our Liberian artists continued to pave their way to the top despite the tense competition from their fellow African colleagues.
As part of their effort to gain more international engagements (fans or followers), MC Caro took to social media to announce her second foremost achievement in the last three days.
Two days ago, the female rap giant posted, on social media, about her 100,000 organic milestone followers on Instagram. This information is worth celebrating because our musicians have limited followers across various social networks compared to their compatriots.
“100K on the gram organically; Thanks to everyone following me,” said King Caro.
King Caro’s most prominent news in recent time came yesterday when she announced a whopping four million views on her Instagram reel. Before posting this article, the views have increased to a massive 5 million, an additional one million in 24 hours.
According to other entertainment blogs, MC Caro is the first Liberian musician to reach such accomplishment on Instagram.
The most exciting part of the news is a world-class celebrity – La La Anthony – attached Caro’s sound to her video. La La Anthony is an American television personality. She was the host of the VH1 reality television reunion shows Flavor of Love, I Love New York, For the Love of Ray J, and Real Chance of Love, and was a dean on Charm School with Ricki Lake.
The star could not hold her joy back as she happily posted her achievement on her official Facebook page.
“I need somewhere to faint. World celebrity used my sound on IG. Y’all go google La La Anthony,” she began.
She continued, “I’m global my people; Just a recording of me talking my ish. 4M views, We [are] global. First Viral sound from Liberia.”

Caroline Moore, better known as MC Caro, is a Liberian rapper and songwriter. She gained recognition in the Liberian music industry through her viral freestyle” Pro Poor.” MC Caro won the Best Female Rapper of the Year Award at the 2020 MTN Liberia Music Awards.
