Amid this report, one of Liberia’s all-time inspiring rappers, JB D’General, has come through with a powerful voice on his latest freestyle tagged, “Did you check on me?”
“Did you check on me?” is a cover the rapper did from a trending Cameroonian female artist song called “people.” According to the Cameroonian artist, Libianca, she made the song “to relieve the saddest emotion in her.”
JB, who only used the chorus of the music (People), took the songs to a whole different level. The rapper expressed the pain depressed people face from others daily.
In the rapper’s mind, people are going through hell, and no one seems to care. He urges us to check on one another regularly. Even if a single phone call does not yield results, JB says you should look for your friends.

The inspirational rapper didn’t mince his words when he said people only check on people when they need something. JB says this should not be the case. He also encouraged people to stop judging each other.
