Social Media controversies continue as one of Sierra Leone’s most influential ladies, Hawanatu Konneh, expressed her disenchantment against Liberia’s famous female rapper — MC Caro. Barely a week ago, MC Caro was at the center of a heated debate when she refused to perform at the Kizz Daniel’s event, due to what she termed as the organizers’ failure to pay her before the show.
One day to the most talked about Kizz Daniel show, King Caro took to her social media handles to announce that she wouldn’t perform at the event. She was even seen in a video discouraging her fans not to attend because of her absence.

Based on Caro’s statement, the entire Liberian community on social media went wild. Her fellow artists supported her, while a few others were against her stance. Unfortunately for the organizers and Kizz Daniel, the event didn’t hold due to poor attendance. The organizers have squarely blamed the event’s failure on Liberian artists’ refusal to rally around them.
Since the cancellation of the show, many people have thrown jabs at MC Caro for being the main reason for the event’s non-existence. Among these people is Hawanatu Konneh. Ms. Konneh is one of the most influential ladies in Sierra Leone. She’s the owner of one of her country’s most followed personal and entertainment blogs.
Hawanatu has a descended view about MC Caro’s “bad” attitude towards musicians living out of Liberia. She wrote a comment under a popular blog post promoting MC Caro’s trip to Sierra Leone. According to reports, the female rapper is currently in Sierra Leone, where she’s expected to perform at a popular musical event. In the post written by “Chichipoly Room,” MC Caro was over a car with many people celebrating her.
That post was a point of concern for Hawanatu. “You are in our country, Sierra Leone, and we welcome you like a queen because we are very accommodating,” said the blogger. “No artist or [none of] us bloggers bashed you, but if another artist goes to your country, you turn activist and advocate. Enjoy your stay,” Hawanatu wrote.
Hawanatu comment raised a massive argument in the comment section, but what important to the lady is she has sent a message to MC Caro.
