A young Liberian humanitarian, Benita Urey, has received massive praise in the comment section of a social media post after helping to save the life of a little boy named Samuel.
In a post on her Facebook page, Urey expressed her gratitude for the progress that little Samuel has made after undergoing treatment.
“What God cannot do does not exist!” Urey wrote. “About one month ago, we came into contact with Little Samuel. He was in critical condition and his pictures started to trend on social media. Hundreds of people tagged me in posts to help save his life and I could not help but to rush to his aid.”
Urey is the founder of the Healing Liberia Foundation, which is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of young people in Liberia. When she heard about Samuel’s condition, she and her team quickly sprang into action.

“The Healing Liberia Foundation quickly took action and escorted him to the 14 Military Hospital,” Urey explained. “We were extremely nervous but we put faith in Dr. Strathy and Dr. Clarke to help save the life of this young boy. After going through some treatment, we are so happy to see the drastic improvements Samuel has made over the last 43 days.”
The progress that Samuel has made has been nothing short of miraculous, and Urey is thrilled to see the impact that her work is having on the lives of young Liberians.
“This is why we do what we do,” Urey wrote. “The youth are the future of Liberia, and I have no doubt that Samuel is going to grow up to impact the lives of Liberians once he makes a full recovery.
We just received the picture on the right showing the improvements Samuel has made. Wow! He looks like a new person 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 This brought tears to my eyes. It has got to be God!!!!!”
In the comment section of Ms. Urey’s post, people from all over Liberia and beyond expressed gratitude and admiration for her work.
“Thank you for being an angel sent from above,” one commenter wrote. “Your work is truly amazing, and I pray that God continues to bless you and the Healing Liberia Foundation.”
