As the rhythm of life continue to shape lives to different paths, trending Liberian comedian Mama Liberia has taken to social media to explain how he went from being a nurse to becoming an outstanding comedian.
The comedian’s dream of becoming a nurse came to hut went he couldn’t afford to feed and sponsor himself while attending a nursing school. He closed the door on a nursing career and entered the comedy industry when he couldn’t afford to pay one semester of school fees.
“What brought me into Comedy is when I wasn’t able to pay for 1 of my Semester that Year, that’s how I promised myself to start doing something,” Mama Liberia wrote.

Mama Liberia, however, explained how difficult it was for him to break into the comedy sector. According to him, many people saw him as someone who wasn’t funny, and they discouraged him from skit-making.
Despite the initial condemnation from fans, the comedian was focused and didn’t pay attention to those who discouraged him. “The beginning of my Comedy career wasn’t interested to people because they never believe, but first thing I do was to believed in myself first,” said Mama Liberia.
The trending comedian, who is now traveling from one place to another, was once upon a time working for people to survive. He works for people because his monthly earning of $45 wouldn’t sustain him.
“Nobody should lie to you, I eat garie and oil those days, I worked for people just to survive during those days. When I graduated, imagine my salary was 8,000 LD USD is $45 per whole month.”
Even though the comedian hasn’t arrived yet, He is grateful for the improvement in his journey. He, however, went on to encourage others to take their “hustle” very seriously.
