Monrovia — Amid a trending video circulating the internet where the Deputy Minister of Information threatened to expose the murderer of the four auditors, Eugene Fahngon has restated that he believed someone murdered the auditors.
On January 20, 2023, edition of the Spoon Talk, Eugene Fahngon threatened a fellow media panelist to expose those who murdered the auditors if challenged. Since his declaration, there has been a public cry for Eugene to disclose those he claimed were the evildoers of this terrible act.
Appearing on the same media platform where he made the initial statement, the former minister added more salt to injury when he clearly stated that he believed people murdered the four auditors.

When the CEO of Spoon Talk asked him whether he thought the auditors were murdered, this was his response: “Honest to God; I believed those auditors were murdered.” The CEO followed up with another question about his [Eugene Fahngon] willingness to attest to this in court, and the deputy minister affirmed.
“Based on what [the audit report] I saw in Nyesuah [one of the “murdered” auditors] hands, I believed he was murdered,” the minister restated. The show became very emotional to the extent that three other panelists couldn’t ask a question, but send condolence messages to the bereaved families.
The husband of one of the late auditors and other close relatives phoned into the show to send their frustration on the government reports about the cause of their loved ones’ death.
