Appearing on the Zero Conditions podcast, Nigerian singer Ruger has dispelled rumors of being an immoral person. The musician opened up about his faith and told the interviewers that he always prepared himself before going on stage.
Apart from his faith, he also said he exercises and sleeps regularly for his body to be physically fit.
“Before I kick off my America tour, I used to go to Eko Atlantic and run like four times, get back into my car, and go home. So, it helps my energy. I made sure I ate well and slept well,” Ruger said.
Ruger canceled thoughts of him being bad because he dances with females on stage. He said his team normally carried out a proper check-up to know that a girl is not below 21 years of age before he dances with her on stage.

“It’s just like I’m partying. I’m not a bad person. The fact that I dance with girls on stage doesn’t mean I’m a bad person. Before I bring any girl on stage, my team checks to make sure they are above 21.”
Speaking on his prayer life, the artist said he prays and fasts often for him to be spiritually fit for any battle. He felt proud calling himself a Christian despite he’s being a musician.
“I pray and fast just to be prepared spiritually. I’m a Christian. I pray even before I go on stage to perform. It just works,” he said.
