Liberian afro-pop artist JZyNo has shared a fascinating story about his encounters with three entertainers in his dreams, revealing his deep admiration for each of them. “I never got the chance to even give them a handshake in real life,” he wrote in a recent social media post.
JZyNo’s first dream encounter was with American rapper Kendrick Lamar, who visited him on five separate occasions between 2013 and 2022. In the dreams, Lamar gave JZyNo a golden microphone and allowed him to perform in front of thousands of fans, inspiring him to pursue music. “I’m hoping to meet him one on one someday,” JZyNo wrote.
The second entertainer to visit JZyNo in his dreams was the late Liberian artist Quincy B, who passed away in 2017. Just a few days after Quincy B’s death, JZyNo dreamed of him blessing him with his right hand while the two sat together on an unknown building. JZyNo noted the coincidence that Quincy B passed away on March 3rd at around 3 AM and that JZyNo’s dream occurred on the third day after his passing. “He was one of the biggest and brightest stars in Liberia,” JZyNo wrote, “and sadly enough, I never met him in real life.”

The third entertainer to visit JZyNo in his dreams was the late comedian and entertainer Georgie Boutinni, whom JZyNo admired in his childhood. In the dream, JZyNo saw Boutinni lying in a hospital bed and having a conversation with his family. When he noticed JZyNo, Boutinni called out his name and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. “Shii felt real tho,” JZyNo wrote, reflecting on the emotional impact of the dream.
