The manager of Liberian trending star JZyNo has revealed that the musician won’t be performing at this year’s Afrimma Music Awards.
Zawadi Em Jarnyneh took to the artist’s official social media account to disclose that his performance cancellation was due to personal issues and sickness.
JZyNo and his manager are currently on a private trip to Liberia. Manager Emma’s statement comes just two days before the show that would be held in the United States of America.
“We regret to inform you that JZyNO will not be performing at this year’s Afrimma due to illness and personal circumstances,” she posted on the artist’s social media handles.
She went further to remind the fans about her artist’s pending project that will be released on the 22nd of September, 2023. “JZyNO’s “Eyes On You ft. Camidoh” will be out on September 22, 2023. please remember to keep JZyNO in your prayers,” Emma added.
Despite the JZyNo’s performance cancellation, the manager also informed the public about upcoming events in a few weeks to come. “We also encourage you to stay tuned for upcoming shows and concerts in a few weeks,” Zawadi Jarnyneh.
JZyNo is the only artist in the Afrimma list of nominations from Liberia. He was nominated in the “Best New Artist” category, making him the second Liberian artist behind gospel musician Kanvee G. Adams to be nominated for the Afrimma’s awards.
This news is sad for Rula FC and the country at large, but it’s only fair that we pray for the artist’s quick recovery from his illness. As JZyNo keeps fighting to wave Liberia’s flag high, we trust that he will deliver more goodies to his country in the near future.
Stay tuned as we bring you every update about entertainment in Liberia and Africa.
