Days after receiving lots of negative words for not hitting the stage at Davido’s show held at the 02 Arena, Kobazzie has sent a message of calm – ensuring his fans that he will perform on a bigger stage one day.
Kobazzie is one of the biggest artists in Liberia and one of the few internationally recognized Liberian artists. Kobazzie came into the limelight when his song “Sleep for what” took the entire nation. Since that hit song, the Afro-Pop artist has produced a lot of hits and widely plays songs (Bounce, Pro-Poor Life, My Heart, and many others) in the country.
Divido and Kobazzie remix “Bounce,” one of Kobazzie’s hits songs, and this became a stepping stone for the artist. Kobazzie has hung up with many international celebrities in recent years – recording songs and chilling with them simultaneously.
Despite all his moves out there, some blogs and fans wrongly targeted the Liberian musician for not performing at the 02 Arena in London.
Even though Kobazzie didn’t tell anyone that he would perform at the show, many Liberians were in high gear to see the big star rocking the big stage. Since this didn’t happen, media outlets and fans have vented their frustration with negative words on social media.
Kobazzie, a big star and a guy who knows how to deal with people gently, posted on his official Facebook page to tell his people that there is time for everything and he will certainly rock the big stage one day.
Here is what he wrote:
It may not be today or tomorrow but one thing I know for sure, am going to perform on a bigger stage with my Liberian flag around my neck one day
