Liberian musicians Kpanto and Kizzy W have recently clapped back at Berenice Mulubah, a Liberian blogger based in the United States, for her constant criticism of Liberian musicians.
Berenice Mulubah is the owner of a famous blog called CLiberiaClearly. Recently, the blogger’s style of writing has been critical in bringing the best out of Liberian content, according to her.
While some may see her critiques as constructive feedback, others view them as a personal attack on their artistic expression and livelihood.
Kpanto used the comment section of Sayou Tequay’s post to point out that CLiberiaCleary’s face is not as smooth as it appears in her pictures and advised her to hire a professional photographer.
“You too old to be acting cheap, pay good money for Professional photos, next time don’t go to that behind-the-house photographer, u too old for that mama,” Kpanto ended.

On the other hand, Kizzy W has accused CLiberiaCleary of ruining everything about his PR page. He claimed that she has made the innocent guy, Milton, who was trying to find himself, get lost in her cloud of control and confusion.
“You made that innocent guy who was trying to find himself to get lost in your cloud of control and confusion till you couldn’t see ahead anymore and dumbed him now he’s no funds to buy more bleaching cream and you know how it’s when the skin is going back to its black root!!!”
The ongoing feud between CLiberiaCleary and these musicians raises important questions about the role of critics in the music industry. While critics are meant to provide an objective assessment of an artist’s work, some may also argue that their personal biases and preferences can cloud their judgment.

Furthermore, how critics deliver their critiques can also have a significant impact on the artists. Constant negative feedback can be demotivating and harmful to one’s mental health. As artists pour their hearts and soul into their work, they deserve to be treated with respect and empathy.
On the other hand, some may argue that artists should be open to constructive criticism and use it as a means of improvement. It’s important to have a dialogue between artists and critics to improve the quality of the music industry as a whole.

While artists deserve respect and empathy, critics also have a responsibility to provide objective and constructive feedback. Finding a balance between the two is crucial for the growth and improvement of the industry.
