The Lagos State Police Command has officially acknowledged the receipt of a petition filed by Tiwa Savage against fellow artist Davido, also known as David Adeleke. In the petition, Tiwa Savage accuses Davido of tormenting her and making threats against her life.
Tiwa Savage alleges that Davido used derogatory language in response to a post featuring herself and the singer’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu. Tiwa Savage expressed her disappointment with Davido’s threats and reminded him of her unwavering support during challenging times for his family, particularly after the loss of his son Ifeanyi.

Despite her reassurances, Tiwa Savage claims to have received inquiries from acquaintances questioning her behavior that may have irritated Davido and her friendship with Sophia.
Responding to inquiries from PUNCH, Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed on Tuesday that an investigation has been initiated into the allegations. He stated, “I can confirm to you that we have received the petition, and investigation has commenced.”
