Monrovia — Keff Hassan, former panelist of “The Spoon Talk,” made a post that appears to be a warning to his former boss, Stanton Witherspoon – CEO of “The Spoon Talk.”
Keff Hassan and three other panelists of one of the nation’s premier shows resigned after three years of service earlier on February 18, 2023.
Before Keff and his colleagues made their resignation public, Stanton Witherspoon appeared on the show to inform the public about Keff’s decision to quit the platform.
Stanton said Keff called him while he [Stanton] was at work to tell him that he [Keff] was leaving the platform because top government officials had advised him to part ways.

The CEO said Keff lamented that it was a tough decision to make, but he had to do so because it came from ranking members of the ruling party.
“I have come to inform you that at approximately 2:50 pm EST, my brother Keff Hassan said he received a call from the government advising him to leave ‘The Spoon Talk’,” Stanton elaborated.
Stanton expressed concern that he didn’t want Keff to quit the show, but Keff said: “he was shaking, he was crying, and didn’t know what to do because the order came from the highest up.”
It seems like the CEO’s revelation of Keff’s personal conversation didn’t go down well. While he was still on the show talking, Keff posted on his Facebook page warning Stanton not to try him.
Here is what Keff posted: “DO NOT TRY ME… LET SLEEPING DOGS LIE!!!!!”
After Keff made the post, many people lashed him as being ungrateful, while others, including Edwin Melvin Snowe, have expressed that they will miss his presence on the show.
About a year ago, Stanton, Keff, and the team moved from place to place when they visited Liberia. They met a couple of political leaders and had tons of engagement with their fellow citizens.
Today, things are the other way around.
