Monrovia — Tragedy struck the home of Liberia’s former Chief Justice, Cllr Gloria Musu Scott, on Wednesday night as unknown armed robbers attacked her residence in Brewerville, Montserrado County.
The attack resulted in the death of one of her daughters, while several others sustained injuries.
According to reports, Cllr Scott’s daughter was brutally stabbed multiple times in the presence of her siblings. The former Chief Justice, who was reportedly at home during the attack, fled the scene in fear for her life.
This is not the first time the robbers have targeted Cllr Scott’s home. Just a week ago, armed robbers broke into her residence and stole important documents containing the former Justice’s information.
Sources close to the family have expressed concern that these repeated incidents may be attempts at assassination.

As news of the attack spread, a large security presence was deployed to the scene to secure the crime scene and protect the family. The incident is still under investigation, and authorities have yet to make any arrests.

The attack has sent shockwaves throughout the country, with many calling for increased security measures to protect public officials and their families.
Cllr Scott served as the Chief Justice of Liberia from 2012 to 2017 and is a well-respected figure in the legal community.
