Barely seven months after his indictment, the former boss and owner of Spoon Communication Network – Stanton Witherspoon – has finally agreed to plead guilty to the wire fraud charge levied against him by the federal court of the US government.
Mr. Witherspoon’s desire to plead guilty would see him face up to 20 years in prison. Besides the 20 years imprisonment, Staton could be fined up to $250,000. According to reports, the federal court would drop every other charge against him based on his admittance to the wire fraud charge.
Staton, a popular figure in the media landscape, was slapped with a US Federal court indictment in January 2023. Since his accusation, life has never been the same for Mr. Witherspoon.
