A famous Liberian Comedian, Enerst K. Jallah, popularly known for his slang “My Grandma,” has used his Facebook page to call on Liberian bloggers to increase positivity and thoughtfulness in their online content.
The sharp wit and hilarious comedian statement come as the result of the intentional mockery that people claiming to be bloggers are carrying out against others on the internet.
“I missed when blogging was about articles, criticism, etc….” EKJ wrote. “These days it’s just all about mockery towards people that are above their standards,” the comedian said.

EKJ’s words hit home for many who have been following the world of entertainment and social media. With the rise of influencer culture, it seems that everyone has an opinion on the lives of celebrities and public figures. But is this focus on mockery and criticism really what blogging should be about?
EKJ doesn’t think so. As a comedian, he knows that humor can be a powerful tool for bringing people together and shedding light on important issues. But he also believes that there is a time and a place for everything and that we should strive to be more thoughtful and respectful in our approach to blogging.

EKJ thought on the state of blogging comes barely a few days when one of Liberian favored bloggers, Gary The Blogger, was apprehended and turned over to the court for posting the picture of Benita Urey and her ex-boyfriend.
Although we are not going into the merit of Gary’s case as it was settled peacefully, his issue is just one of the many that have happened between bloggers and their audiences.
EKJ’s words serve as a reminder that there is still a place for thoughtful, well-written articles and criticism in the world of blogging.
In conclusion, EKJ’s message about the importance of thoughtfulness and respect in the world of blogging should be taken to heart.
As we navigate the ever-changing landscape of entertainment and social media, it’s important to remember that our words and actions have an impact on others.
Let’s strive to be more mindful and compassionate in our approach and use our platforms to make the world a brighter, more positive place.
