Peter C. Kamara, famously known as PCK, has categorically denied gossip about having HIV and expressed readiness to avail himself of live-stream public laboratory tests.

Wednesday, August 16, 2023, a “Liberian” Twitter user named Richlyn made an alarming post about a Liberian musician having HIV and risking Liberian girls.

In her post, Richlyn claimed if the musician didn’t come out to identify himself to the public, she would do so in thirty days.

“A certain Liberian artist is HIV positive. It’s not in my place to call his name, but he needs to come out and disclose his status, the girls he’s going out with are at risk. If he can’t come out to the public within 30 days, I will mention his name. I’m sorry,” Richlyn posted.

A few hours after her post, there were too many concerns across the internet. Many influencers and social media users called on Richlyn to identify the alleged individual immediately; they said the thirty days period was too long.

Yeilding to the public demand, Richlyn again took to her Twitter handle on August 17 to point direct fingers at PCK. “PCK is HIV positive!!.. He has been for years now. I double dare him to deny,” she exclaimed.

Barely an hour after her accusation, PCK’s name appears in the Facebook search feed as a “popular now,” prompting a quick response from the artist.

PCK claimed he has had good health over time and is willing to do a public laboratory test only if Richlyn makes her identity public. “If she says she is real, let her come from behind the fake page. I’m willing [to do the test], my hands are up,” PCK said.

He went further to say that if he’s tested and free from the allegation, Richlyn would have him to contend with. PCK lamented about staying on his lane and wondered why these things kept coming his way.

“I respect myself, and I respect my family. I move solo because I don’t want to be in anybody way. But I don’t know why all these things keep happening,” PCK sadly said.

This social media drama is coming when the artist prepares for his Australia tour. He attributed the rumor to hate, envy, and the proclivities to bring him to nothing.
