The Chairman of the Academic Committee of the Association of Liberian Students in India, Scholar BobWillie K Sulonteh Jr. raised several concerns to the Liberian government through its education minister.

Today, the leadership of the Association of Liberian Students in India, held an executive meeting with the Minister of Education of Liberia, Professor Dao Ansu Sonii, in Delhi, India. In the meeting, scholar Bobwillie was able to raise some concerns. The Academic Committee Chairman of the Association of Liberian Students in India proposed the following:
- The establishment of an Effective Academic Research Center to help students studying at all levels to have access to basic research information.
- He also proposed that the teaching of essay writing and public speaking be key in secondary school to help high school students to have good writing and communication skill prior to graduation.
- Lastly, the chairman urged the Government of Liberia to build a good bilateral relationship with India as a means of creating more scholar slots for students desiring to further their education.

At the end of the meeting, the Education Minister of Liberia was given two awards – an ‘Award of Service’ to the Minister given by Chairman Bob for his contribution to the educational sector especially public schools in Liberia, and another ‘Award of Service’ to President George Weah given by the Association President, Bob Tromue Flomo IV.
