Elizabeth MK Nyandibo, a Liberian female sports journalist and a social media influencer, has celebrated her strength and resilience as she turns 26 today. Elizabeth recently defended her research paper for graduation at Starz University days ago and has been reflecting on her journey thus far.
Growing up in a humble background in old Matadi, Elizabeth saw her mother struggle to provide for her education. Despite the challenges, Elizabeth never allowed her background to be a reason for her failure in life.
She believes that God placed her in that family to make a change and give her little sisters a better life than what her late mother could afford.
“Because of what I went through while growing up, I have decided never to allow my background to be the reason for my failure in life. I believe he placed me into that family to make a change and not to be the same, that’s why giving up is never an option,” Elizabeth said.
Elizabeth’s mother, H Janneh Singbae, was a teacher who raised her well. Although her mother has passed away, Elizabeth is grateful for the strength to carry on and celebrate her birthday.

“At age 26, I am proud of how I have been handling the last few months after my mother’s death. The silent battles I have fought and conquered, the moments I had to humble myself, the time I have to wipe my own tears. Today, I am celebrating strength,” she said.
Elizabeth’s determination to overcome challenges and make a positive change in her family’s story is an inspiration to many. As she embarks on a new chapter in her life, she asks for God’s grace to help her run her race.
