In the last few weeks, Cristoph The Change’s name has made headlines in the news but not for a good reason. Different social blogs have posted many diminishing posts about the legendary musical rapper.

His affiliation with drugs has caused him to decline in health and wealth. Times without a number, according to reports, the rapper has been seen selling his room materials.

According to his bigger brother, Jackie Russ, Christoph started taking drugs about eight years ago. Amid this news, never in the rapper’s life things, has gone so bad compared to now.

Christoph is losing everything, including his mental stability. How sad 😢. The underlying factors behind Christoph’s drug addiction are his mother’s death and bankruptcy.

His Mother’s Death

Despite the ups and downs, Christoph was primarily subject to his mother’s instructions. The musician admitted to this truth in an emotional song that Teddyride featured him and Deng.

In that music tagged “Mama,” Christoph opened up on how swift his mom was when it came to disciplinary actions against him. He explained how his mother went the extra mile to see them eating.

Now that his mom is more, it seems like the musician has gone brake lose leaving his bigger brother, Jackie Russ, with a broken heart.

Here is his complete lyric in that song:

When I’m crying for nothing she used to bobo me

Even When I’m crying for wacking she never karlay me

After fixing my foster, come see her feeding me In the night I sleeping she killing mosquitoes over me

When I slip and for down she tell me wake up

I never sit down and see my son turn in to beggar one time,

I na know what fool me, I go swim out of pear pressure but the beating my mom gave me made to forget my slipper

But what don’t kill you makes you strong, me I’m a giant

that kinda African pepper na turn me into a gbanna na the love she showed me, sweeter than bread and butter

Ehn your jue say she loves you, she ever give you taytay water

When we na eat, she can’t eat J just ask Jackie Russ

She used to hustle hard for the country rice mixed with bonnie dust

No disrespect to lay carey, shoutout to mama-yah

My oldma got me because she can cook beans bad way pass mama-yah

Christoph Bankruptcy

One reason Chris has gone poor is what many people termed bankruptcy. It’s well established that Christoph and co were the first groups of artists that made much money from Liberian entertainment.

The Hipco legend admitted to this many times in his songs. After signing many endorsement deals and flying to different countries, it’s imminent that Christoph’s frustration will definitely end with drug abuse.

Some entertainers are even claiming that it is drug addiction that carries him to the level of bankruptcy. Whatever reason caused Christoph’s breakdown, we are here praying for the musician to get back on his feet stronger.
Keep Christoph in your prayers.
