Amid a series of social media “Vawulence” that is being thrown at Benita Urey, the young socialite has decided to take the educational route on anyone who will come after her. In recent days, Ms. Urey has come under a series of criticisms from her “equal friend” and other social media users.
It all started when Benita Urey and her team announced their latest company – Sway Solid Waste Management Solution – to keep the local environment clean and also provide employment opportunities for young Liberians.
While thousands of people lauded them for this beautiful idea, few others took exception to their idea and called them out for “copyright infringement.” Benita and her colleagues launched their company with the slogan “Dump Pile Hero”. According to reports, there is already a registered company that is called “Dumpa Hero.” Although there is a difference in the name, they both meant and pronounced the same.
Even though “Dump pile Hero” is only a slogan for her company, a lot of netizens took to the internet to criticize her and her team for “copyright infringement.”
Joseta S. Neufville – CEO of “Dumpa Hero” had this to say: “The development we seek must start from ourselves. No matter how small the impact is, we ought to play our part… The name “Dumpa Hero” is the colloquial for the phrase “Dump pile Hero” all clearly spelled out in our business registration and project proposal. Everyone can be a force of change let us do it the right way.”
As the debate went on, co-founder of the Liberian Influence, Michelle Doe, came out with another post claiming that the blog Benita runs is her idea. Here is what she wrote on Facebook: “This is the perfect time to mention that the blog [Liberian Influence] she runs presently wasn’t her idea, name or concept. It’s mine, all mine.”
The Liberian Influence boss has been quiet all this long except for Michelle’s post where she used a commenter’s post to mock her former friend.
Despite her quietness on these matters, the “Vawulence” continues to intensify on the lady. A few days ago, news broke up on the internet that Benita’s parents were divorcing after 36 years of marriage. This news again has begun a talking point for most of her “equal friends.”
In a recent post done by “CLiberiacleary” where she was in solidarity with Benita’s mom and extending compliments to the former couples, Wokie Dolo – former Miss Liberia – took it to another level. Wokie came down hard on Benita. See the screenshot below to read CLiberiacleary’s post and Wokie’s reply.
Benita Urey who bagged a Bachelor’s Degree from York University in Canada has decided to take a different route. Instead of the normal Vawulence attack which she did earlier, Ms. Urey is now using the educational route. Read Benita’s replies in regards to Wokie’s comment.
She first replied: “I won’t respond to any homewrecker in 2022”. Not just stopping to this reply, the Influencer came with another post that has given the debate another trend.
“From now on, if they pick fuss on me I’ll only drop my CV and ask them to drop theirs so we can compare if we are mates.”
