Monrovia — A former deputy minister of the CDC-led government has threatened a fellow partisan to expose how the four auditors died if he [Kef Hassan] challenged him. Eugene Fahngon, a former high-ranking government official, has reopened the families’ wounds with his recent statement.
Eugene made the statement when he appeared on the Spoon Network – a popular evening-hour show in Liberia. It all started when his fellow panelist, who is also a die-hard partisan of this government (CDC), tried to question his information ability about the party.

Based on his colleague’s doubt about him, Mr. Fahngon angrily listed the flaws of the current government. “As I speak to you, George Weah does not have a coalition. As it stands right now, George Weah does not know his political future. I was your minister of Information when 16 billion came about,” said the former deputy minister.
He then continued: “The death of the auditors, I haven’t talked yet. If they sent you [Kef Hassan] here to challenge me, they will have to run for cover if I open up,” Mr. Fahngon angrily stated. The most intriguing part was when he said, “what I know, you don’t know ten percent. The next time you try it on this platform, you will know how the [4] auditors died.”
Since his revelation, the citizens have called on the government to make the former minister accountable for his words. Others have said base on what he is claiming to know could serve as evidence for a new investigation.

minister Eugene is a suspect he need to be audited and I don’t want the government to take it likely with him let him tell us how those auditor died.

So who doesn’t know how the auditors died? Two died from carbon monoxide poisoning, one from accident, and the other fell from from height. Or there are other information surrounding their death that we don’t know?
